Soda Just Can’t Win Against Coffee

Coffee is simply a better and smarter pick than soda. There are an abundance of reasons that it makes sense to switch out soda for coffee. Some of them are obvious but some other reasons are not quite as apparent.

If you are concerned about how much sugar you get on a daily basis, then you should definitely drop the soda can and switch to the more logical alternative, coffee. Coffee, unlike soda, is free of all that sugar. The average soda can is brimming full of sugar, whereas coffee, on the other hand, only has as much sugar as you want to give it. Of course, this means that the control is in your hands. But this is not the case with a can of soda. With a can of soda, you are essentially at the mercy of the soda manufacturer in terms of how much sugar you consume.

Skip adding sugar and crme to your coffee and you have a nearly zero calorie beverage. The same cannot be said for soda (and diet soda is a different issue altogether). Anyone who is watching their weight or attempting to drop a pound or two will want to run as far away from soda as is possible. Soda can be a major factor in wrecking one’s diet. By adopting coffee over soda, you potentially save hundreds of calories a day that can be applied toward real food. Put in its proper light, soda simply cannot compare to coffee.

Just like sugar, artificial sweeteners will only make their way into your coffee if you pick up a packet and put it in yourself. Diet sodas might circumvent coffee’s calorie advantage, but that advantage comes with a price tag. That price tag is chemicals and artificial sweeteners. Let’s be blunt about this topic; you need neither. Coffee is not full of chemicals, preservatives and artificial sweeteners. When picking coffee over soda, you are putting yourself in control. Whereas, when you pick the soda you have allowed your decisions regarding sweetness levels to be made for you!

Coffee is not loaded down with chemicals, colorings and preservatives. Quite sadly, the same cannot be stated concerning soda. Soda definitely has added ingredients that you just don’t want in your body, such as high-fructose corn syrup and different coloring agents. There are lots of options when looking for a beverage, but coffee is definitely at the very top of the list. For those looking to lose weight, coffee makes wonderful sense. After all, you can regulate exactly what you put into a black cup of coffee. If you want to keep your calories low ,just keep the sugar and cream at a minimum. This way you can dump the calories and the chemicals and lose some weight at the same time. Regardless of whether or not you are attempting to drop pounds, you probably don’t need empty calories in your diet. Coffee is the perfect way to avoid the downside of soda.
